Forks Township, Pennsylvania
An Easton woman was seriously injured Monday night when she was thrown from an SUV that hit a parked car in Forks Township, police report.
Dawn Stocker, 53, of the 1400 block of Pine Street, was transported to St. Luke's University Hospital in Fountain Hill after the 7:47 p.m. crash in the 800 block of East Newlins Road, township police Chief Greg Dorney said in a news release. A hospital nursing supervisor didn't immediately return a phone message seeking Stocker's condition.
Richard D. Stonewall, of the 300 block of Nesquehoning Street in Easton, was driving a 1997 Ford Expedition when he struck a parked car in front of 885 East Newlins Road, Dorney said. The parked 2012 Honda Accord is owned by Michael S. Pollack of Norristown, Pennsylvania, Dorney said.
Stonewall was taken to the Northampton County DUI Center because alcohol was suspected of being a factor in the crash, Dorney said.
