ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO : Woman killed in hit-and-run on I-55 in south St. Louis County on Wednesday, 8th November 2023

A woman died Wednesday after she was struck by a car just after midnight in south St. Louis County.

The crash happened early Wednesday morning on southbound Interstate 55 near the Lindbergh Boulevard interchange, Cpl. Dallas Thompson with the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

The woman, 43-year-old Randii Smith of St. Louis, was taken to a local hospital for treatment and was later pronounced dead, according to MSHP.
