CINCINNATI, OH : 3 injured in Cincinnati police pursuit, 4-vehicle crash on Monday, November, 20th 2017
Cincinnati police say a pursuit led to a crash Monday afternoon in Cincinnati.
The crash occurred at Dorchester Avenue and Reading Road, west of Eden Park and Interstate 71.
Four vehicles were involved, and three people were injured, police said. A child was among those injured.
Around 1:30 p.m., officers spotted a vehicle and said the driver was wanted for felony robbery out of Norwood.
The chase started on Reading at McGregor, headed West toward Auburn, turned east onto Dochester, then came to an end at Reading and Dorchester.
The Dorchester/Reading intersection was cleared around 4:19 p.m., about three hours after the crash.
Police used a drone as part of their investigation to help map out the crash scene.
"Fairly new, I mean, it's technology, so we're using it right now for our traffic unit to assess the scene. We're flying above taking still photography, putting that into the overall investigation with our mapping software that they use, total station, so it's just a comprehensive way to evaluate the scene," Lt. Steve Saunders said.
The Dorchester/Reading intersection was cleared around 4:19 p.m., about three hours after the crash.
