HANFORD, CA : Harley rider hurt following CHP chase and crash near Hanford on Tuesday, 9th July 2024

A Harley-Davidson rider suffered major injuries after he crashed while trying to get away from CHP officers Tuesday night.

It happened around 10:00 p.m. when CHP tried to pull the rider over for a traffic violation.

The rider, identified as Ivan Campos-Anaya, failed to pull over and led officers on a chase.

The pursuit was canceled after just a few minutes out of safety concerns.
