Marquette, MI :2-vehicle personal injury accident on US-41 in Marquette on Sunday, July 5th 2015

Michigan State Police responded to a 2-vehicle personal injury accident Sunday afternoon on US-41 near the Marquette Best Buy.According to police, one of the vehicles rear-ended the other causing the crash. Further information regarding the cause of the crash is not currently known pending investigation.Both vehicles suffered heavy damage and their occupants were taken to U.P. Health System Marquette for treatment of their injuries. Their names and conditions are not being released at this time. We will update this story as more information becomes available.The MSP were assisted at the scene by Marquette Township Fire Department and U.P. Health System EMS.
