Topeka, ks : Man dies in one-car crash Monday in Ness County in western Kansas on April, Monday 10th 2017
A 68-year-old man died in a one-car crash Monday morning in Ness County in western Kansas.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 10:16 a.m. on K-4 highway, 6 miles east of Brownell.
The patrol said a 1999 Oldsmobile was westbound on K-4 when it crossed the center line, went into the south ditch and became airborne for about 100 feet. The car then landed and went end over end before coming to rest on its axles.
The driver of the car, identified as Thomas Lee Sekavec, of Brownell, was taken to Ransom Hospital in Ransom, where he later died.
The patrol said Sekavec was wearing a seat belt.
