NEW MADRID, MO : Multiple juveniles one adult injured in New Madrid crash on Saturday, 24th February 2024

Multiple juveniles and one adult were injured in a two vehicle crash in New Madrid, Missouri.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol Crash Reports, the crash occurred around 6:26 p.m. on February 24. The crash location was on US 61, one quarter mile north of New Madrid.

The crash occurred as one vehicle, a 2014 Kia Sorento, was slowing to make a left hand turn. A second vehicle, a 2017 Hyundai Sonata, struck the Kia in the rear.

The driver of the Kia, 30-year-old Sharon McGlowson of Cape Girardeau, was injured in the crash. McGlowson was transported by EMS to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau to be treated for minor injuries.
