Lehigh Acres, FL : Four people injured after crash in Lehigh Acres early Wednesday morning, March 18, 2015

Four men were transported to the hospital after a serious crash early Wednesday morning in Lehigh Acres.

It happened near 52nd Street and Ida Avenue around 3:45 a.m. when a Pontiac Grand Am slammed into a tree.

The driver was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital via helicopter in critical condition. The three other men in the car were transported via ambulance.

The Lehigh Acres Fire Department and the Florida Highway Patrol both responded to the scene.
