Wynne, AR : One person died, 2 injured in crash on U.S. Highway 64 in Cross County on Tuesday, Aug 18, 2015

A crash in Cross County Tuesday left one person dead and another two injured.

It happened around 7:00 p.m.

One car was driving east on U.S. Highway 64 when a Nissan Versa driven by Jessica A. Ramey, 18, of Wynne pulled out in front of it.

A passenger in Ramey’s car, Makayla R. White, 19, of McCrory was killed.

Ramey and another passenger, Madison D. Riley, 19, of Tuckerman were both injured.

According to the Arkansas State Police crash report, nobody in the other vehicle was injured.

Ramey and Riley were taken to Regional One Health in Memphis to be treated.

The crash report states that the weather was clear and the roads were dry at the time of the crash.
