Lake George, NY :New York man dies after collision with pickup truck on the highway on Saturday, June 20th 2015

Authorities say an upstate New York man has died after driving his car into the back of pickup truck at high speed.The Post-Star of Glens Falls reports (http://bit.ly/1BD05zN ) 28-year-old Alexander Brot, of Glens Falls, was pronounced dead at the scene Friday night in Lake George.Police say the fatal crash occurred on Northway road after Brot drifted off the left side into the median, got back into a travel lane and sped up into the back of a moving pickup.The driver of the Ford pickup, 72-year-old Arthur Wisotsky, of Putnam Valley, and a passenger in the truck suffered minor injuries.An autopsy will be performed to determine why Brot lost control of his vehicle.
