Jefferson City,MO : JC man killed in Cooper County crash on April, Thursday 26th 2018

A Jefferson City man was killed Thursday afternoon in a one-vehicle crash in Cooper County.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. on Route O, just south of Swan Road.

Willard Meyer, 95, failed to negotiate a curve and went off the right side of the road. He struck a large rock and several trees before his vehicle overturned.

Meyer, who was wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
