Hartford, CT : R.I. police seek suspected car in fatal hit and run on Wednesday, January, 3rd 2018

Rhode Island State Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a Connecticut vehicle suspected in a fatal hit and run.

According to a press release, police are investigating a car versus pedestrian collision that occurred on Plainfield Pike in Scituate on Dec. 29 at approximately 11:15 p.m. The crash, which occurred in the area of the Scituate Reservoir causeway, killed the pedestrian and the car fled the scene, police said. Officials are looking for a 2016-2018 red Chevrolet Cruze with damage to the passenger side front fender, headlamp, mirror and windshield.
