North Platte, NE: Two Car Accident on I-80 West of North Platte Injures One on Sunday, Augast 2nd 2015

A two car accident West of North Platte injured one female Sunday Night.Nebraska State Patrol says it happened just before 8:00 p.m. at mile marker 174.Trooper Boje says two cars were headed west bound on Interstate 80 when a 2009 Honda Accord had missed the North Platte exit and proceeded to make an illegal u-turn on the highway. The car behind the Accord, a 2004 Ford pick-up, had then struck the car on the driver's side door.One female was transported to Great Plains Health after the accident while others involved were treated on scene with minor injuries. State Troopers did not know the extent of the woman's injuries at the time.The Honda Accord was totaled.North Platte Fire and Rescue also responded.
