Arlington crash leaves Leesburg man dead, two injured

Arlington County police were investigating an early Sunday morning crash that left a 21-year-old Leesburg man dead and two others injured.

Police say Sami Ullah was driving about 90 miles per hour around 4:58 a.m. when he lost control of his 2008 BMW M5 and struck a curb as he crossed over the Key Bridge from Georgetown into Arlington. Arlington police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck said Ullah’s vehicle rolled over about five times and came to a rest on its roof.

There were two passengers in the vehicle, one of whom was ejected from the car. The second passenger was able to remove himself from the car. Both passengers were taken to George Washington University Hospital and were listed in serious condition.
