Milaca Township, MN : 2 injured in Milaca crash on Friday, 5th July 2019

A Milaca man and a Texas woman were injured in a two-vehicle crash on wet roads Friday, July 5, in Milaca Township.

The Minnesota State Patrol reports 32-year-old Raymond Maynard Schwartz was crossing over the northbound lanes of Highway 169 near 190th Street in his 2000 Chevrolet Silverado when the vehicle collided with a 2016 Chevrolet Equinox driven by 47-year-old Angela Michell Myrdahl, of Quinlan, Texas. Both Schwartz and Myrdahl were transported to Fairview Hospital in Princeton for non-life-threatening injuries.Myrdahl’s passenger, 50-year-old William Joseph Myrdahl, was not injured.

Both drivers and the passenger were wearing seat belts.

The Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Office, North Memorial Ambulance, Princeton Fire Department and Mille Lacs Health Ambulance assisted on scene.
