Strong City ,OK :Three-vehicle crash results in Chase County fatality on Saturday , June 27th 2015

A three-vehicle accident in Chase County resulted in the death of 18-year-old Kaleb Montgomery of Marion just before 10 a.m. on Saturday.Montgomery was the driver of vehicle one, and was heading eastbound on Highway 150 near mile marker 12, approximately 14 miles west of Strong City.According to the crash report, Montgomery had just passed vehicle three and was attempting to pass a semi while vehicle two was coming westbound.He attempted to swerve to the right and overcorrected, traveling northbound into the ditch on the north side of the road.Vehicle two struck his car on the passenger side, left the roadway and overturned, coming to rest on the driver’s side.Montgomery was ejected from the vehicle, which came to rest on the south side of the highway.Charles Foreman of Garden City was the driver of the second vehicle. He was taken by ambulance to Wesley Hospital with unknown injuries.No other occupants have listed injuries. The Kansas Highway Patrol and the Critical Highway Response Team response to the accident.
