New London ,WI : Car driver injured in school bus crash after car then went into the in Waupca County on Tuesday ,March 24th 2015

Authorities said the driver of a car was seriously injured in a crash with a school bus in east-central Wisconsin, but no students were hurt.

The Waupaca County sheriff's office said the bus had stopped on Highway 54 to pick up a student Tuesday morning when it was rear-ended by the car. The car then went into the ditch.

The driver of the car had to be extricated from the vehicle and was flown to Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah with serious injuries. The driver and passengers on the bus were not hurt.

The bus was from the New London school district.
