Greeley, CO : Six people injured in SUV vehicle crash Greeley on Wednesday February 17 2016

Six people were hurt Wednesday — though none of the injuries were serious — when the Greeley-Evans Transit Bus they were riding in was involved in a crash with an SUV.
The crash happened just after 2 p.m. at the Greeley intersection of 23rd Avenue and 25th Street, Greeley police spokesman Sgt. Joe Tymkowych said. He said investigators will still working to piece together how the crash happened. However, five people were transported to North Colorado Medical Center and one person got a ride to the hospital in a personal vehicle.
“They were all kind of jostled around in the bus when it got hit,” he said, noting there were more than a dozen passengers on the bus at the time of the crash.
He also said 25th Street was shut down briefly while crews worked to clear the crash. Authorities also restricted the flow of traffic on 23rd Avenue.
“It did kind of cause a little bit of a traffic jam down there,” he said. “That’s not unusual when you get that kind of accident.”
Tymkowych said he did not know the names of any of those involved in the crash, nor did he know if the driver of the SUV was among the injured because investigators were still working to sort out all the details on the crash.
