Newport Center, VT : One person killed in road overdose crash on Thursday January 21 2016

Vermont State Police say a man has died after an overdose and a crash.
They say last Thursday, Calvin Miranda, 29, went off the road and hit a tree on Route 100 in Newport Center. They say the Massachusetts man had overdosed on cocaine, which caused that crash.
Miranda had only minor injuries from the crash, but he died Monday at the hospital.
