A 75-year-old Texas man has been killed in a single-vehicle crash on an Arkansas roadway.

A preliminary report by the Arkansas State Police says the crash happened Friday at 10:15 a.m. on Highway 7 in Perry County.

Police say John G. Hoffman of Granbury, Texas, was traveling north on Highway 7 and was trying to take a left curve.

The preliminary report says his vehicle went east off the roadway and fell on its left side. The victim was ejected from the vehicle, which came to rest in the east ditch.
