North Little Rock, AR : Tractor-trailer driver killed in crash on I-459 on Monday, 11th September 2023

An Arkansas man was killed in a crash on I-459 Monday afternoon.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says 42-year-old Jeffrey E. Cane, of North Little Rock, Ark was driving a 2023 Freightliner tractor-trailer that hit a tire that had come from a 2002 Ford Explorer.

After hitting the tire, the tractor-trailer ran off of the road and caught on fire.

Cane died at the scene.
