Las Vegas, NV : 29-year-old man killed in motorcycle wreck on Sahara Avenue near Durango Drive on Tuesday night, February 10, 2015

A motorcyclist killed when he collided with a car while riding a wheelie Tuesday has been identified as 29-year-old Laurence Anthony Brocato II, authorities said.

Brocato was riding east on Sahara Avenue about 7:30 p.m. while pulling a wheelie, police said.

A 2006 Pontiac GTO was turning left from westbound Sahara into a driveway when it collided with Brocato’s motorcycle, police said. Brocato was thrown from the bike and hit a 2005 Ford Focus in the driveway, police said.

Brocato was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and passenger of the Pontiac suffered minor injuries but declined to be taken to the hospital, police said.
