Warren County ,OH : Couple killed and another person injured after dump truck and a car collided on Tuesday morning ,June 9th 2015

Police have identified the two people who were killed after a dump truck and a car collided in Warren County Tuesday morning.

Leonard Lawson, 76, and Joyce Lawson, 73, were both killed when Leonard Lawson failed to stop at a stop sign, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Leonard Lawson was driving east on State Route 350 when a Peterbilt dump truck traveling south on U.S. Route 22 collided with the Lawsons' Mercury Grand Marquis around 10:20 a.m.

The driver of the truck, Robert Deedle, 63, of Wilmington was treated for minor injuries and released, police said.

Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash site. They have not announced when the intersection, about a mile west of Clarksville, will reopen.
