Ridgeville , SC : 35-year-old man killed in Motorcycle accident after he tried to pass a pick-up truck hauling a car trailer on Sunday ,April 12th 2015

A 35-year-old Ridgeville man died Sunday after a motorcycle crash, according to Dorchester County Coroner Chris Nisbet.

Christopher Howard was driving north on Ridgeville Road, where he also lives, on a Yamaha motorcycle when he tried to pass a pick-up truck hauling a car trailer.

A car was travelling south at the same time and Howard had to steer back into his lane and struck the trailer of the pick-up, according to Nisbet.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. No other information was released.
