Lake Worth, FL : PBSO seeks help identifying pedestrian killed in Greenacres-area crash in the 6100 block of South Jog Road, near Lantana Road on Saturday, 21st March, 2020

Authorities are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday night south of Greenacres.

The crash happened shortly before 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the 6100 block of South Jog Road, near Lantana Road. According to a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office report, a Honda Civic was traveling north on Jog when the driver suddenly noticed a pedestrian in his path.

The driver, a 26-year-old man, swerved but was unable to avoid the crash. The unidentified pedestrian, a black male, died at the scene.
