Brevard County, FL : A 77-year-old Brevard woman was killed in a multiple-vehicle crash on Saturday, June 21, 2014

The Florida Highway Patrol will be investigating a multiple-vehicle crash in Brevard County.

According to FHP, 77-year-old Jene Holland was stopped in her 2007 Cadillac on Lake Poinsett Road at a stop sign approaching State Road 520.

A Ford pickup truck was traveling westbound down SR-520 in the outside lane when Holland attempted to cross the intersection, entering the direct path of the pickup.

The front of the pickup struck the passenger side of the Cadillac; the pickup was overturned from the impact, and both vehicles came to a stop in the shoulder.

This crash will remain under investigation by FHP.
