A 73-year-old Palm Coast woman was killed and her 82-year-old passenger seriously injured in a crash on U.S. 1 Friday evening in St. Johns County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Carolyn Frisbie was attempting to turn her Toyota Camry onto U.S. 1 from Venetian Boulevard in front of a Pontiac Vibe when the two cars struck about 6:15 p.m., the Highway Patrol said. She died and passenger Lillian Warner was hospitalized.
No injuries were listed on the crash report for the Vibe's driver, 27-year-old Kayla Gordie of Jacksonville.
