Paris,TX : Man arrested after flees accident on April, Monday 9th 2018

Police arrested a 21-year-old Paris man Monday, after he fled the scene of a one-car accident in the 2600 block of N. Main Street.

“A truck driven by Bobby Joe Roach pulled out of the Cefco at that location, drove across four lanes of traffic on N. Main Street and struck a tree on the opposite side of the road,” said Paris Police Chief Bob Hundley. “Precinct 3 Constable Steve Hill witnessed the crash and, while still on scene, noticed the driver had removed his boots and shirt, running from the scene across N. Main. Officers identified the registered owner of the truck, went to his nearby residence and made contact.”
