TEHAMA COUNTY, CA : 2 taken to hospital with major injuries following Tehama County motorcycle crash on Saturday, 5th August 2023

CHP Red Bluff said a motorcycle driver and passenger were taken to the hospital with major injuries following a crash on Highway 36 and Cannon Road, west of Red Bluff, on Saturday.

The motorcycle was traveling westbound on Highway 36 when CHP said the driver leaned over too far, went off the road, hit a fence post and rolled over. CHP said both victims sustained broken bones.

Highway 36 was under one-way traffic control but has since fully reopened.

The crash happened around 11 a.m., and the cause is under investigation.
