OXFORD, ME : Otisfield driver pinned after Oxford crash on Monday, 14th May 2018
An Otisfield driver was taken to a hospital with minor injuries Monday morning, after the car he was driving hit a guardrail and flipped on its side on Route 121, Oxford Police officer Alan Coffin said.
Richard Danowski, 54, was driving his 2002 Ford Focus toward Oxford village when his car hit the guardrail near the boat launch on Thompson Lake at 6:23 a.m. The windshield was removed to get him out of the car, Coffin said.
Danowski was taken to Stephens Memorial Hospital for complaints of chest pain.
Coffin said it appears Danowski was driving too fast, based on Officer Bryce Mason’s report.
