JACKSONVILLE, FL : 1 man dead, another injured while repairing tire on exit ramp to I-10 after car crashes into pickup truck on Monday, 26th February 2024

A 42-year-old man was killed after being struck by a pickup truck, which was initially hit by a sedan, on Interstate 295 north exit ramp to eastbound Interstate 10 shortly before noon Monday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to the FHP report, the driver of a black sedan, a 24-year-old woman from Jacksonville, struck the pickup truck that was stopped on the highway helping a tractor-trailer with a tire repair. After that initial collision, the pickup truck hit two men who were at the scene.
