Three people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash Thursday morning near Mustang.
According to Oklahoma City police, emergency crews responded to the serious crash involving three vehicles at about 10:30 a.m. on Mustang Road at Southwest 59th Street.
Police said a black Honda Accord was traveling southbound on Mustang Road when for unknown reasons the car drifted left of center. The car first clipped the side of a northbound Hyundai, then hit a second northbound vehicle head-on.
The driver of the Honda was thrown out of the car and is listed in critical condition with potentially life-threatening injuries.
Both of the other drivers were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police continue to investigate what caused the first vehicle to drift left of center. They said the driver of the Honda Accord was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision.
