Reading, PA : Couple injured in Robeson Township crash on February, Wednesday 7th 2018

Rescue workers had to free a Birdsboro couple from their overturned SUV after it collided with a car Wednesday morning on Route 724 in Robeson Township, police said.

Richard Knarr, 62, and his wife, Barbara, 72, were taken by ambulance to Reading Hospital after the crash about 11 a.m. on Route 724 near Maple Road, police said. Both were treated, according to a hospital spokeswoman.

The road was closed between Maple Road and the Cumru Township line for about an hour after the crash.
