Seminole County, FL : One person died in fiery crash after van crashes into Seminole County home on Sunday, July 5, 2015

One person was killed in a fiery crash that also caused a Seminole County home to catch fire Sunday, according to Seminole County Fire Rescue.

Initial reports said the unidentified driver of the van crashed into a home on River Tree
Circle and Grey Bark Court near Sanford at about 2:30 p.m., but Fire Rescue confirmed the van,
which was on fire, was stopped next to the home. The driver of the van died, FHP said.

The side of the house caught fire, but the blaze was limited to the garage and attic.

When Fire Rescue arrived, the van was engulfed in flames.

Crews were able to quickly put out the fire to the home, which had limited damage.

No one was home when the fire started, officials said.

Officials have not released additional information about the incident.
