Police investigate possible fatal auto-pedestrian accident

Kyle Police Department is investigating the death of a man found lying near the roadway at intersection FM 1626 and Kohlers Crossing. The man was identified as 37-year-old Phillip Duran, a Kyle resident. Duran was last seen by his mother when he left their home Saturday around 10 p.m. to go for a jog. His brother, Chad Benninghoff, says Duran asked him to go jogging with him.
