Platteville, WI : Double fatal crash west of Platteville on Wednesday, 4th December, 2019

Colo. 66 closed Wednesday morning after a double fatal crash west of Platteville.

Police responded 6:13 a.m. Wednesday to Colo. 66 and Weld County Road 17, where a 2008 Jeep and a 2014 Ford pickup truck crashed, according to a tweet by Colorado State Patrol. The driver of the Jeep, as well as the driver of the Ford, died. A passerby who attempted to help after the crash was injured by broken glass.

No further information has been released about the deceased.
