Kennett, MO : Clarkton woman hurt in Ripley County crash on Friday, December 23rd 2016

A Christmas weekend crash in Ripley County left two people hurt, including a woman from Clarkton.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the crash happened just after 10 a.m. Friday on U.S. 160 west of Doniphan. Troopers say a vehicle stopped to make a left turn before it was struck in the rear by another vehicle.

Betty Redden, 57, of Clarkton was riding in the car that rear-ended the stopped car. She was among two people who suffered minor injuries in the crash. She was taken by private vehicle to Southeast Health Center of Ripley County for treatment.
