Ashland City, TN : Jonathan L. Voss, 61, died after a fatal motorcycle crash in the Ashland City area near his home on Friday night, April 22, 2016

Metro Police have identified the motorcyclist who suffered a fatal injury in a Friday night accident in the Ashland City area near his home.

The 2003 Harley-Davidson that Jonathan L. Voss, 61, was riding shortly before 7 p.m. ran off Little Marrowbone Road near Whitlow Mountain Road.

The motorcycle then struck a small pile of gravel and became airborne, according to the police.

A passerby discovered Voss in the roadway unconscious.

Voss, who lived on Little Marrowbone Road, was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died, the police said.
