A Nassau County woman died Saturday night when her car crashed along U.S. 1 south of Old Kings Road in Duval County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Vanessa Dixon, 36, of Callahan died when her Nissan Murano veered off U.S. 1 for an unknown reason, spun around and hit a tree on the side of the road about 9:20 p.m. Dixon wasn’t wearing her safety belt, according to the Highway Patrol.
