Fort Myers , FL : One injured after car crashes into tree at South Health park Drive on Thursday ,April 16 2015

One person was injured after a car crashed into a tree in Fort Myers Thursday.

It happened on South Healthpark Drive around 9:35 p.m.

According to Lee County Sheriff's officials, the driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital for injuries. The severity of those injuries are unknown.

Only one person was inside the vehicle at the time of the crash.
