Two people were seriously injured after a rollover accident in Helvetia this morning when a pickup truck hit a power pole and flipped onto its roof, according to the Hillsboro Fire Department. Just after 7:30 this morning firefighters from Washington County Fire District 2 and Hillsboro Fire Department responded to the crash where they found two young adults trapped inside a truck on NW Helvetia Rd. in Washington County. Firefighters quickly treated the patients who were both cut out of their seat belts and removed from the vehicle within 25 minutes. Life Flight was activated, a female passenger was flown to OHSU Trauma Center and the male driver was taken by ambulance to Legacy Emanuel Hospital.
