Bothell police officer was injured in a crash on I-405

A Bothell police officer was injured in a crash on I-405 Wednesday evening.

Police say the officer was responding to a disabled car on the southbound offramp to NE 160th. Another car then rear-ended the officer.

The officer was taken to a local hospital for treatment of back injuries. The driver of the other car was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The officer hasn't been identified but a department spokesman said he's been with the department for several years.
