Renton man, Lacey woman die in separate car accidents
A Renton man was killed when the Jeep Cherokee he was driving hurtled off the road and smashed into a dozen cars in an auto-dealership lot in Parkland.
The State Patrol says the accident about 3:30 a.m. Sunday killed Anthony T. McDonald, who was thrown from the Jeep.
Troopers found the Jeep still running on top of some cars in the sales lot at Parkland Chevrolet.
General manager Tim Shea estimates damage to the dealership's vehicles at $200,000 to $400,000.
In a second fatal accident early Sunday, Natalie J. McLaughlin, 22, of Lacey, was killed just after midnight when another vehicle crossed the centerline of Highway 12 in Thurston County and smashed head-on into her car.
