Shasta County, CA : Mother and her 13-year-old son injured in rollover crash near Anderson on Tuesday morning, November 18, 2014

A mother and her 13-year-old son sustained minor injuries during a rollover crash off Balls Ferry Road southeast of Anderson Tuesday morning. The blue minivan overturned in an S-curve on Balls Ferry Road near Davey Way around 8:45 a.m., coming to rest on its roof in a ditch 15 to 20 feet off the roadway. California Highway Patrol Officer J.D. Womack said the driver Teresa Brown, 32, was traveling northbound at an unknown rate of speed when she lost control entering the turn. "She entered the corner on a wet road way and lost control of her vehicle," Womack said. Brown and her son were transported to Mercy Medical Center in Redding for complaints of pain.
