DAYTON, OH : Car crashes into site of former Dayton restaurant on N. Main Street near Indianola Avenue on Friday, 18th January 2019

A car lost control and slammed into an abandoned building in Dayton early Friday.

The crash happened just after 3 a.m. Friday on N. Main Street near Indianola Avenue.

Authorities say an inexperienced driver lost control of a vehicle.

It crashed into a vacant former restaurant. The building was heavily damaged in the crash.

Medics checked the driver at the scene, but no one was taken to the hospital.

Authorities say the driver will be cited for failure to control.
