Beaverton, OR : Pedestrian killed in car crash near Lombard Avenue on Thursday night, February 5, 2015

The pedestrian was killed when he was hit and killed by a car Thursday night, according to the Beaverton Police Department.

Spokesman Mike Rowe said the man was wearing dark clothing and ran across Southwest Allen Boulevard near Lombard Avenue.

The driver stayed at the scene of the crash and it didn’t appear any crimes were committed, Rowe said.

The man was not crossing the street in a crosswalk, Rowe said.

Southwest Allen between Lombard and Hall are closed while police investigate.
