Gadsden, AL : Four people injured in a two-car accident in East Gadsden on Thursday night, April 21, 2016

Four people, including a child, were injured in a two-car accident Thursday night in East Gadsden.

Sgt. John Hallman of Gadsden police said the accident happened at 8 p.m. in the 400 block of East Meighan Boulevard.

A 2000 Pontiac Sunfire was exiting the Dairy Queen on East Meighan and collided with a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban. The accident is still under investigation.

One person in the Chevrolet and three people in the Pontiac were injured. Police did not release their names or ages, but Hallman said one child was seriously injured in the Pontiac.

All victims were taken to hospitals in Gadsden.
