Fort Worth, TX : 48-year-old Fort Worth woman died in car crash in Interstate 35 Northlake on Sunday October 9 2016

A 48-year-old Fort Worth woman died in Northlake early Sunday after a man ran a red light at Texas 114 and Interstate 35 and crashed into her vehicle.

Dawn Blume of Fort Worth died at the scene at 3 a.m. of multiple blunt-force injuries, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner.

The vehicle Blume was in was struck on the driver’s side as it entered the intersection from the northbound service road, Northlake police Sgt. Alex Arnold said.

Rayshune Demone Russell of Cedar Hill was arrested at the scene and booked into the Denton County Jail on suspicion of intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle, according to jail records.
