Omaha, NE : Priest from Nebraska dies in crash in Branson on Monday, November 10, 2014
An Omaha priest was the fatal victim of a car vs. pedestrian crash on Monday.
According to the Archdiocese of Omaha, the Rev. Francis A. Partusch was vacationing in Branson, Mo., when a car struck and killed him. The archdiocese learned of Partusch's death late Monday.
"I am deeply saddened by the sudden death of Father Partusch," said Archbishop George Lucas. "This is a tragic loss for his family, parishioners and his brother priests."
Partusch, 68, was serving as pastor of St Bridget-St Rose Parish in South Omaha.
A special rosary is being held at St. Bridget Parish at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
