Marietta, OK : 24-year-old man died in a single car crash on New Hope Road on Tuesday night, August 30, 2016

A 24-year-old Marietta man died Tuesday night in a single car crash on New Hope Road.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Esli Sanchez-Leos died about 7:30 p.m. when the 2010 Hyundai he was driving southbound ran off the road about two miles west of Marietta and one-half mile north of Lou King Road. The car rolled once, before hitting a fence and ejecting the driver about 10 feet. Sanchez-Leos, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead-at-the-scene by Oklahoma Medical Examiner Investigator John Miller.

The condition of the driver and the cause of the fatal crash remain under investigation.
